Manitoba Impact Investing Ecosystem Development

The Social Innovation Office (SIO) works as an intermediary, creating a space to connect and explore, seeking innovative solutions for complex social and environmental issues.  As a department of the Manitoba Government, the Social Innovation Office works with government, service providers, and investors. They take an outcomes-based and collaborative approach to connect innovators, spark and develop new solutions, align funding to critical areas, and drive sustainable social change. 

Over the past three years, the SVX team has provided education support to government officials, organizations, and investors, conducted market research, supported ecosystem and government strategy development, and advised on specific projects.
