SVX partnered with the First Nations Bank of Canada, the National Aboriginal Capital Corporations Association (NACCA), Grand Challenges Canada (GCC), the Vancouver Economic Commission, Innovate BC, TMX, and the McConnell, Lawson, Mastercard and Ontario Trillium Foundations to host a roundtable series on “Addressing the Capital Gap for Indigenous-Led Enterprises in Canada”.

We convened Indigenous entrepreneurs and business owners along with capital providers and ecosystem support organizations, facilitated candid conversations to help break down these barriers, and aim to share our findings and recommendations to benefit and inform investors and asset owners to ultimately unlock more capital for Indigenous-led enterprises

Together with our partners in Phase One, we published a report entitled “Pathways Forward” which is available for download.  As of October 24th, 2023, we released a companion report entitled “Taking Steps“, building on the “Pathways Forward” report and driving towards a set of action items to share with the sector.
