We have a long history of partnering with local community leaders to co-create and co-manage place-based impact investing funds, including working with Pillar Nonprofit Network on VERGE Capital.  VERGE Capital supports local economies and communities across Southwestern Ontario by investing in social enterprises that put people and planet first. SVX was engaged in the initial efforts to establish VERGE Capital through an initiative called Social Finance London, then was involved in the development of the Start-up Fund and subsequently the Breakthrough Fund. 

VERGE Breakthrough Fund is a $2.26M fund providing debt financing for organizations, projects, and enterprises in Southwestern Ontario. SVX provides joint management, administrative support, due diligence, reporting, and compliance support. We are working to fully deploy the capital, while we are also currently working on the scale-up for Breakthrough Fund 2.Â
